The DYMO LabelWriter 4XL is a long-standing 4x6 thermal shipping label printer, known for reliability, though it works best with DYMO-brand labels.
Pirate Ship gives you discounted USPS and UPS rates with no monthly fee, plus integrations with eBay, Etsy, Shopify and others. It is a favourite with small sellers because of its simplicity and transparency.
Shipping is where small margins quietly disappear. Discounted label platforms can save meaningful money on every package compared with retail counter rates, and a thermal label printer removes ink costs entirely. Compare carriers supported, whether there is a monthly fee, and whether the tool imports orders from the marketplaces you sell on. The deciding factors usually come down to each tool's standout strength (for DYMO LabelWriter 4XL: reliable and well known; for Pirate Ship: no subscription) weighed against its main drawback (proprietary labels cost more versus usps and ups only).
