Mercari is a general shipped marketplace with an easy mobile listing flow and flexible shipping options. It is a good secondary channel for crosslisting almost anything that ships.
OfferUp is a local-first marketplace popular for electronics, tools, furniture and vehicles. It ended nationwide shipping, so it is now strictly a local-pickup channel and a useful second option alongside Facebook Marketplace.
Every marketplace has a different buyer, fee structure and category strength. Furniture sells locally, sneakers go to authentication platforms, vintage clothing to Depop and Poshmark, and almost everything sells on eBay.
